Education for Health indexed in SIIC

We are happy to announce that, as of Volume 18, 2005, The Network: TUFH journal Education for Health is indexed in SIIC’s indexing and reviewing services. SIIC is the abbreviation of Sociedad Iberoamericana de Información Científica. SIIC publishes in Spanish and Portuguese, scientific information on medicine and healthcare.

SIIC´s homepage is placed among those of greater impact and prestige among physicians, healthcare professionals and institutions of Latin America, Spain and Portugal.

Members of SIIC´s editorial medical staff write an objective summary in Spanish or Portuguese of those articles. This summary is an objective and conceptual summary which is written after having read the full text. The complete bibliographic reference is always mentioned.


This information is also included in the News Letters sent electronically every week to Medical Associations and professionals. The same is done with information regarding International Scientific Congresses which SIIC freely promotes.

The regional mass media and governmental institutions also receive SIIC`s press releases via the news agency "aSNC" of outstanding information on medicine and health. These include news reports from the journals indexed in SIIC´s Data Bases.

Education for Health: Change in Learning & Practice (EfH) is highly consulted by SIIC´s Scientific Committees. It is among the journals mostly recommended to the physicians of the region. Thus it is freely promoted among Spanish and Portuguese speaking medical community.
